Wool is naturally grown and is renewable as the camel or yak is sheared once per year after the long winter. Also, none of our products are bleached or dyed. That way they are even more natural.
Wool is what yak and camel grow to stay warm either in high altitudes or steppe Gobi, before we shear it off for clothing - the fine hairs trap air and keep it in close where the body’s heat can warm it.
As your body heats up, the moisture vapors will be absorbed by the wool fiber, and released to the drier environment outside of the fabric; releasing heat and keeping you dry & comfortable.
The wool fibers are naturally covered with a special waxy coating. They're highly absorbent & can soak up around 20% of their weight in water before it starts to leak through.
